What is "Girth" and how do I measure for it....

Girth is the measurement that determines the length of your garment's bodice. ( It is the most important measurement for a skating dress...) Our girth measurements are taken by placing the end of the tape measure where the centre seam of the crotch would be, bring the tape measure up the back and over the right shoulder then down the front to meet the other end of the tape measure at the centre of the crotch.

This measurement is the girth.

For a child size dress please indicate on your order if you would like us to leave a couple of inches "growing room" in the girth...
